Jolly’s exclusively split interior also allows for a collectively pleasing atmosphere as we simultaneously cater for intimate dinners for two, to large parties of friends.
With a design brief imbuing the style of upmarket eateries from the world’s greatest cities, the concept of Jolly is to offer superior quality food at honest prices in a contemporary space that is refreshingly devoid of any pretense.
Taking our cues too from a community vibrant in its racing culture; sit back and relax on our Donegal Tweed cushioned communal banquettes and note our exhibiting artwork of Punchestown, The Curragh, and Naas racecourses which reflects our own genuine passion for the time-honoured sport.
Opened in December 2012, Jolly Café and Restaurant is already locally loved and hitting all the right spots as it brings a little urban chic to the suburban town of Naas.
Meet the team
At the cornerstone of Jolly is restaurateur Mark Condron whose previous restaurant success venture is Zest Café and Restaurant in Clane, which continues to inspire much appreciation amongst its regulars.
Creativity is at all times key for Mark and head chef Gavin Lowbridge, who instill their flair for current and innovative cooking onto Jolly’s talented team of chefs. Gavin was born in the UK and has worked in lots of Dublin’s finest restaurants culminating in two years as head chef in Harvey Nichols. Now living in Newbridge Gavin is looking to work with some of Kildare’s finest suppliers and ingredients.
It’s real food for genuine foodies, who also relish in the simplicities of popular crowd pleasers such as chargrilled burgers, chunky chips and dishes from our daily specials board.
