Jolly’s Autumn Menu

The nights are getting colder and there’s a crunch of leaves beneath our feet… autumn is officially here! We know that there will be many people out there mourning the departure of summer, but that’s where Jolly’s autumn menu comes in!

At Jolly, we adore autumn and all of the terrific flavours it has to offer! We’re all about using seasonal ingredients in clever ways, which is why our autumn menu is packed full of traditional autumnal flavours.

Some of our seasonal favourites include chestnuts, mushrooms, game and root vegetables, all of which we have incorporated into our incredible autumn lunch and dinner menus.

Our seasonal lunch menu is all about light meals that are packed full of flavour. Our chicory, blue cheese and chestnut salad is topped off with a mellow pear, honey, mint and lime dressing. The bitterness of the chicory offsets the sweetness of the pear. For a similar flavour sensation, why not try our venison, chorizo, butter bean and black olive salad. This is drizzled with a truffle dressing, made to enhance the rich flavours of the meat. For more gentle, homely flavours, why not try our butternut squash and feta cannelloni, dressed with pine nuts, pecorino and some peppery rocket.

Our dinner menu is inspired by natural, woodland flavours that have been used for centuries.

Our starters include wild mushroom bruschetta and a rich parsnip, bacon and apple soup, specially designed to warm you up and ignite your taste buds.

Our dinner mains include our famous chicken supreme, served with sweet potato and butternut squash lyonnaise. The dinner menu also embraces richer meats such as venison.

Jolly’s special pan-fried venison is served with sweet baby beetroots, fondant potato and our incredible smoked bone marrow butter.

Another irresistibly creative addition to our autumn menu is our pan-fried skate, served with potato rosti, samphire and vanilla beurre noisette.
